Your data is stored on servers located in the United States through our service provider Supabase. We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. After account deletion, we may retain certain information for up to 30 days for backup purposes and as required by law. Anonymized or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.

SweatCheck is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the SweatCheck mobile application ("App") operated by SweatCheck Co. ("SweatCheck," "we," "our," or "us").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using SweatCheck, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SweatCheck. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.

3. Description of Service

SweatCheck is a fitness accountability social media application that allows users to:

• Post workout photos and updates
• Maintain and track gym streaks
• Follow and interact with other users
• Comment on posts and send direct messages
• Browse fitness content from the community

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate or incomplete information.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create and post to SweatCheck ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant SweatCheck a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display your User Content in connection with operating and promoting the App.

5.2 Content Standards

You agree not to post User Content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or invasive of another's privacy
• Infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights
• Contains nudity, sexually explicit material, or pornography
• Promotes violence, discrimination, or hatred against any individual or group
• Contains false or misleading information
• Impersonates any person or entity
• Contains spam, advertising, or solicitations without our permission
• Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Violates any applicable law or regulation

5.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor, review, and remove User Content at our sole discretion. We may remove content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable for any reason without prior notice.

5.4 Comments and Direct Messages

The same content standards apply to comments and direct messages. You are solely responsible for your communications with other users. SweatCheck is not responsible for the conduct of any user. Exercise caution and good judgment in all interactions.

6. Streak System

Our streak system requires posting at least once every 48 hours to maintain your streak. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Streaks are for motivational purposes only and have no monetary value
• We are not responsible for streak losses due to technical issues, though we will make reasonable efforts to address such situations
• We reserve the right to modify the streak system rules at any time
• Manipulation or abuse of the streak system may result in account suspension

7. Health and Fitness Disclaimer

You acknowledge and agree that:

• SweatCheck is a social media platform for sharing fitness content, not a fitness program or health service
• Content posted by users does not constitute professional fitness, medical, or health advice
• You should consult with a qualified healthcare provider before starting any exercise program
• You are solely responsible for your own health and fitness decisions
• SweatCheck is not liable for any injuries or health issues that may result from exercise activities
• You should stop exercising and seek medical attention if you experience pain, discomfort, or other warning signs

8. Advertising

SweatCheck may display advertisements from third-party advertisers. Your interactions with advertisers and any terms, conditions, warranties, or representations associated with such interactions are solely between you and the advertiser. SweatCheck is not responsible for any loss or damage incurred as a result of such interactions or the presence of advertisers on the App.

9. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by SweatCheck Co. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our prior written consent.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the App
• Collect or harvest user information without consent
• Circumvent any security features of the App
• Use the App to send spam or unsolicited messages

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Breach of these Terms
• Conduct that we believe is harmful to other users, us, or third parties
• Conduct that we believe violates applicable laws

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting us.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SWEATCHECK CO., ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE APP
• ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE APP
• ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE APP
• UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SweatCheck Co. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SweatCheck Co. regarding your use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do streaks work?

Your streak increases each time you post a workout. You have a 48-hour window between posts to maintain your streak. If you don't post within 48 hours of your last workout post, your streak resets to zero.

Can I recover a lost streak?

Currently, streaks cannot be recovered once lost. We're working on features like "streak freezes" for future updates. Stay tuned!

How do I change my username or profile picture?

Go to your Profile tab, tap the settings icon in the top right corner, and select "Edit Profile" to update your information.

Is SweatCheck free?

Yes! SweatCheck is free to download and use. The app is supported by advertisements. We may introduce optional premium features in the future.

How do I report inappropriate content or users?

Tap the three dots (•••) on any post or profile and select "Report." Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours and takes appropriate action.

How do I block another user?

Go to the user's profile, tap the three dots (•••) in the top right, and select "Block." Blocked users cannot see your profile, posts, or send you messages.

Why am I seeing ads?

SweatCheck is free to use and supported by advertising. You can adjust your ad preferences in the App settings, though you cannot completely disable ads.

How do I turn off notifications?

Go to Settings > Notifications in the App to customize which notifications you receive. You can also disable notifications entirely in your device settings.

Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. If you'd like to delete your SweatCheck account and all associated data, please follow the instructions below.

How to Delete Your Account In-App

Alternative: Request Deletion via Email

If you are unable to access your account or prefer to request deletion via email, please send a request to coop@sweatcheck.fit from the email address associated with your SweatCheck account.

Please include:

• Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
• Your SweatCheck username
• The email address associated with your account

We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days. You will receive confirmation via email once your data has been deleted.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your profile information (username, email, bio, profile picture)
• All posts and photos you've uploaded
• Your complete streak history and statistics
• Your followers and following lists
• All comments you've made on other users' posts
• All direct messages (both sent and received)
• All likes and interactions
• Your notification history
• Your app preferences and settings

Data Retention After Deletion

After you delete your account:

• Your data is immediately removed from our active systems
• Backup copies may persist for up to 30 days before being permanently deleted
• We may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you
• We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal compliance)
